The Rite of Spring

This is a celebration of spring.  It is St James’ Park in London, but it could

be anywhere.  People are out enjoying the

first lovely sunshine of the year, the leaves are just out, and dancing,

daffodils and new grass are simply adding to the symphony of joy that the first

days of spring bring. The air itself feels fresh and new.  I wanted to convey the feeling that assaults

your senses as you look up into bright green leaves, where everything feels so

fresh, almost washed it is so clean.  The

intoxication of new life.
