French Kitchen Window

The kitchen window in my friends house in the correze. Its in a barn, hardly converted but filled with collections of "Brocante" wonderful eclectic mix of old, new, shabby and chic! I painted this in 10cm squares, because I wanted to explore the paint, the abstract qualities of watercolour and light, what goes into shadow, that kind of thing. They dont quite match up, but I like that.
